More on Dynamic Player Performance in Madden NFL 12

Awareness is usually one of the most effected ratings when the ratings change, historically. That and the position specific ratings (QB Short/Mid accuracy, WR catching/route running etc) will probably change the most. If the ratings change dramatically because of an INT or drop then that is over the top in my opinion, and will lead to frustrating gameplay where you feel like you are at the mercy of Dynamic Player Performance. If they could find a way to implement DPP using the logic of their Player Roles (If an underachiever, ratings drop on 3rd downs or 4th quarter) then that would be something. There would be structured logic to how a player reacts. Instead, we will likely get two separate ratings features that conflict with eachother and cause chaos, leading to another Madden 08-type arcade game with the Weapons system.

Look, Madden has ripped us off for the past 5-6 years. But as of now we dont know whats gonna work and what wont. I am not a fan of EA but they have brought more to the table this year then they have in the past 4 years combined. If it all works, this will easily be the best madden ever. If not, then its madden 11 with better presentation. I dont know if it’ll work anymore than you do, but I’m not gonna speculate yet because we havent even seen gameplay vids yet!! n 2 weeks, i may be on your side, but until i see gameplay, im staying neutral.

thats what im worried about. i feel like this will erase the needs for initial ratings…like why pay an extra 5 million in FA for a good running back when if he has one bad game, his overall will drop 5-7 points. What about past first teams like the packers? they rarely run, so when Starks is averaging 30 yards a game because of less carries, does his rating fall? hmm, theres a lot in the air about this right now that needs to be cleared up

Not sure how they can make this work realistically. No one reacts the same way all the time. Sometimes, a negative play can increase performance. If a QB throws a pick, that may just drive up his determination in the next series, so he shouldn’t take a ratings hit. Obviously it can make him nervous the next time out as well, but how to determine which it is in a video game doesn’t seem feasible. In any case, I’m curious to see how they handle something like that.

Get over it. They’ve made some encouraging changes. I get that “I’m willing to give it a shot, but I won’t be sold until I see how it plays” is a little complex for you and the Everything EA Does Is Terrible At All Times No Matter What crowd, but you’re the one in here acting like a sheep with your mind made up before you’ve even seen the game.

Drew Pannell Named Head Coach at Reinhardt - Lacrosse News

WALESKA, Ga. -- Drew Pannell has joined the Reinhardt University athletic department as its new head men's lacrosse coach. He is responsible for directing all aspects of Reinhardt's intercollegiate men's lacrosse program, which currently competes as a member of the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association and Southeastern Lacrosse Conference. Pannell replaces former head coach Binz Hansen, who resigned from the position in April. Pannell has a long history in lacrosse, as both a coach and player. In July 2007, he was one of the founders of the International Diversity Lacrosse Council and currently serves as vice president. Pannell held assistant coach positions at Collegiate School in New York City in 2009-10, NCAA Division II Bellarmine University in the fall of 2009, NCAA Division I University of Detroit (Mich.) Mercy in 2008-09, NCAA Division II Dominican College in 2007-08 and Hempstead (N.Y.) High School from 2005-08.
