Give blood, see a movie on Aug. 1: Shark Week!
Blood will surely be in the water next week at Discovery Channel "Shark Week" and it will also be running on Mon, August 1 near the sharks in the aquarium's marine Norwalk.
The American Red Cross held a blood drive at the Aquarium, on Monday, 11:45 to 4:45 p.m.
Admission fee is not necessary to be a donor at the Aquarium on Monday. All the "donors with" will receive a free ticket for a typical IMAX (R) film at Maritime Aquarium - a value of $ 6.50. Films are playing "Born to Be Wild", "the Dolphins "and" T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous.”
Individuals who are 17 years of age, meet weight and health requirements, and are in generally good health may be eligible to give blood. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of ID.
