Dollie Jean Holt, 66, of Ironton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 11, 2011, from Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

The Ironton native was born Aug. 5, 1944, the daughter of the late James Thomas Holt Jr. and Narrah Elizabeth Hall Roberts.

Ms. Holt was a graduate of Ironton High School and a retired legal secretary. She worked for several law firms and child support agencies. She was of the Methodist faith and is a member of the Patriot Guard and Soldiers Angels.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nina Holt, and brother, James Thomas ‘Gus’ Holt III.

She is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Sherri Michelle and Keith Johnson of Clearwater, Fla., and Tammy Jo and Joseph Miller of Portsmouth; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Rick Barbour of Parkersburg, W.Va., Cindy and Harold Friend of Ironton and Pam and C.C. Walker of Clovis, Calif.; six grandchildren, Jennifer Parmentier, Ryan Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Kaitlin Johnson, Kyle Adams and Justin Ennis; a great-granddaughter, Juliana Parmantier and a best friend, Christina Sharik.
