Zmil Store Fleischmann HO 1/87 DCC Digital &DC DB BR212 #4230 -Invest in Trains - Safer than the stock Market- Runs very nice on DC too, I have chosen the DCCconcepts decoders because they have superior slow running characteristics for the Fleischmann Locomotives. There are cheaper alternates (Hornby, Bachmann and other trainset brands) but these usually have reduced capabilities and are not fully programmable (even speed and momentum ) The DCCconcepts decoders have a full range of lighting effects , Speed tables (curves) , adjustable momentum curves etc. This is a Another Lovely Fleischmann Germany DB BR212 or BR211 (4230) This model - only manufactured for a short time of 4 years. The locomotive is fitted with a Next Generation DCC-S4SAP decoder by DCCconcepts with "Stay Alive" for extra smooth slow running-The stay alive has two primary effects: It aids slow running and greatly smooths super slow speed running as the decoder is no longer susceptible to frequent momentary power losses as always happens with very slow speed, even in bigger locos. It is NOT designed to make the loco run over large non conductive areas. It can also be parallelled to increase its effectiveness if wanted (www.dccconcepts.com)-1 Year warranty ( see the DCC Concepts website for details). Lighting has been replaced with Warm White LEDs programmed directionally and to dim at stop.White Headlights come on with F0- . You will never have to replace a lamp again The locomotive has had a service and is running very nicely. .
