“When I first came to Nashville MMA in late 2009 I was a successful high school softball player.  I had seen some MMA fights on TV and wanted to be a superstar fighter.  I had the passion and athletic ability but there were a few major hurdles. One, I didn’t really know how to fight and more importantly I was way to out of shape and overweight.  My trainers suggested I start training in the cardio kickboxing “kick” class . It absolutely kicked my butt.  I thought I was in decent shape from softball, but I quickly learned otherwise.  Within two weeks the soreness wore off and I could feel the transformation begin.  I began to feel a new energy.  Best of all, I lost 60 pounds in six months. I look great! Now, I am in the best shape of my life.  I train in the regular martial arts classes to train for my fights, and I’m undefeated as a fighter. I never could have got so far so fast if it wasn’t for the cardio “kick” bootcamp. They set the bar for fitness in Nashville .”
