"I have addressed this directly with Joe.") It's a Kevin James movie, and he plays a schoolteacher that gets into mixed martial arts to save his music program.
It won't be released until probably this time next year, maybe even next summer. It's a comedy, but it's also really well shot. The action fight scenes are great.
And Kevin has been a martial artist since he was a little kid. Kevin and I have been friends since our early 20s, and he's always been a martial artist. We've trained together hundreds of times. He's very dedicated. He's overweight and he's got a big gut, but he's lost 80 pounds for this role. He went on a strict vegan diet and trained every day. He's very skilled. He's going to impress a lot of people.
A lot of people look at him and go, " Paul Blart: Mall Cop as a UFC fighter?" You'd be impressed, man. He's got skills.
Are people from the MMA world serving as consultants for the movie?
Bas Rutten. He's serving as a consultant and also acting in it.
Ryan Parsons, who is one of the best trainers in mixed martial arts. He trains Jason "Mayhem" Miller and is the former trainer of "King" Mo Lawal, the former Strikeforce champion. He's an excellent trainer, and he's involved.
And there's a bunch of other guys. Mark DellaGrotte, of course, who's the head trainer at Sityodtong in Boston, which is one of premier Muay Thai camps in the country. And he's one of the premier striking coaches in the world. DellaGrotte is also acting in it.
There's a lot of UFC fighters with roles as fighters. Jason "Mayhem" Miller, Christoph Soszynski, there's quite a few guys in it.
Right now, big names from the past like Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell are being phased out by a younger generation. Where is the UFC headed?
It's evolving. The reason why these guys are being phased out is they're older. It's a young man's sport, and you take a lot of damage. There's only a certain amount of time you can do that.

Last week, we had a home work on Calculating Donation Summaries using Excel Formulas . This is a good case where array formulas can help us. So today, we will learn how we can use Array Formulas to compare lists of values and calculate summaries. Towards the end of this post, you can see a video that explains the solution to Donation Summary Calculation problem.
Comparing List of Values – Different ScenariosThere are 2 scenarios when we compare lists of values.
Comparing a list of values with a single value (or condition) Comparing a list of values against another list (array comparison) Comparing a list of values with a single value (or condition):This is the most common and easiest comparison. Examples of this are – count of all values > 20, sum of values between 5 and 23, count of employees in purchasing department etc.
We have built in formulas in Excel to help us do this easily.
Note: You must press CTRL+SHIFT+Enter to get this formula work How does this formula work? The formula checks for lstGiven < lstPledged and returns a bunch of TRUE, FALSE values. When you multiply this with lstGiven, Excel would convert TRUE, FALSE to 1 and 0 and then multiply. Since 0 multiplied by anything would 0, we end up with a bunch of donation values where donated amount is less than pledged amount. Once all the values are there, the SUM would just add them up. However, if you are using it on a very large dataset it does have an impact on speed. I worked around it by replacing SUMPRODUCT with SUMIFs.I often use the IF function array entered. For example, I might have a dataset (named MyData) and want to conditionally sort it. For example, show me the top 5 items in MyData where the values are more than 10, this formula would do the trick:=LARGE(IF(MyData”greaterthan”10,MyData)), 5) of course ctrl+shift+enter to get the curly brackets.
